Among those honored were Seminole Fire Chief George Bessler, who was installed as the club?s new president, and dentist Dr. Sandra Lilo, who was named Rotarian of the Year.
Bessler and his wife, Suzanne, have been residents of Seminole for 31 years and have three children: Ryan, Alex and Candice and a new grandson. The family has been active in the Seminole community and in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, with George and Suzanne Bessler participating as leaders for those and several other organizations.
Lilo was chosen as Rotarian of the Year because of the contri- butions she made to the club during its 2012-13 Rotary year.
The Rotary Club of Seminole Lake meets Friday mornings at 7:15 a.m. at Freedom Square?s Roskamp Auditorium. Potential members and guests are welcome. For more information or to attend a meeting, contact Lilo at 398-7473.
